These Jiffy pellets take about 30 minutes to fully rehydrate. I find it works well to lay the pellets out in a plant flat and then add about a half inch of warm water and allow about 3o minutes for them to fully absorb the water. They will absorb most if not all of the water and be at the right moisture for planting seeds. The plants should be bottom watered until transplanting.
